Community Development Officer in the Municipal Council of Batticaloa and CSF Coordinator (Sri Lanka)
Being a Community Development Officer Nithiyarajani brings with her exemplary skills in communication, organization, project planning and coordination to compliment her role as the CSF coordinator. Also, she acts as a bridge between the community and Municipality in community development project and takes major roles in office management, such as being the in-charge officer for local government reform activities and team member of the Citizen Chart Committee. Nithiyarajani is an active member of the Communication and Public Education team organized to raise awareness among citizens on waste disposal methods and drainage maintenance. Improving drainage and maintenance is a key intervention of FCM within Batticaloa Municipal Council and Nithiyarajani together with her team members have been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative education tools.
