Second vice President of the Local Government Association of Iraq (LGA)

Mr. Nariman was born in 1963, is married and has three children. He has a Bachelor degree’s in law. Before his councillorship he worked as lawyer in the ministry of justice.

 

Mr Nariman is the Second vice President of the Local Government Association of Iraq (LGA) and also a councillor of the Erbil Provincial Council. The Iraqi LGA was established in August 2006 to include representatives of the 18 Provincial councils (PCs) of Iraq. This institution coordinates between the PCs on one hand and the Iraqi federal government on the other hand in issues of joint interests in addition to exchanging experience and knowledge among PCs themselves. The LGA members are working together regardless of their political and religious diversity.

 

Mr. Nariman is also a member in several standing committee of Erbil council like of industry, electricity and legal committees.
