Jordi Capdevila

Jordi Capdevila is a specialized consultant in international relations and governance, development planning, crisis administration, post conflict reconstruction and harmony, and coordination of donors in developing countries. His professional activity led him to live during more than 7 years in different countries. Up until 2007, he lived in Herat, in the northeast region of Afghanistan, where he worked for the United Nations Assitance Mission for Afghanistan (UNAMA); there he was in charge of the coordinating unit for humanitarian aid, development, and governance. Before that, he lived for a long time in Manila, The Philippines, where he worked as a planning and policy specialist, as well as a member of the team coordinating operations for Afghanistan at the heart of the Asiatic Development Bank (ADB). His international experience, nevertheless, started at the heart of the UN, since some time ago he was in Kosovo for a couple of years as a member of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), working above all in the group responsible for the organization of Justice and the Police.
