Mr. Daclin worked in advertising from 1975 until 2001 and was president of the DDB Nouveau Monde advertising agency. Since 2004 he has been General Counselor of Rhône and President of the Decentralized Cooperation Commission of the CGLU. Since 2001 he has been president of the European commission of the Association of Mayors of the Greater Cities of France (AMGVF) and since 2008 he has been a member of the Regions of Europe Committee. Since 2003 he has been president of the network of the Cities of Light LUCI and since 2007 president of the network of Cities of Gastronomy DELICE.
