Ihab Sabbah is involved in a development project between The Hague and Palestinian and Israeli local governments, that focuses on Geographical Information Systems (part of the Dutch Good Local Government Programme LOGO South). Other experience of Mr Sabbah in the field of Geographical Information Systems include conducting an environmental survey in Nazareth and the mapping of all environmental nuisance; general mapping of all geographic details of the city; collecting demographic information from the field; introducing a new addresses system for the city of Nazareth including renumbering of streets and houses; the planning, production and publishing of the first comprehensive city map for residents and tourists, and establishing a new Geographical Information System based on Web Client.
