Mayor of Corinto (Colombia)
He received a degree in social sciences and as an agricultural technician. Mr. Muñoz has worked 20 years in community processes, at the start as a public official and support technician in rural communities. He has been a promoter of social participation initiatives. He is a former mayor of Toribio for the indigenous movement, a former interior secretary of Toribio, and coordinator of the public sector and education of Toribio's Nasa project, and a former director of the Center for Community Education CEDIDIC in Toribio. In 1997 he received recognition as a teacher of wisdom from UNESCO. He was elected as municipal mayor bi the Indigenous movement.
