Emilio Espín Amprimo

Emilio Espín Amprimo worked for 25 years as a business administrator in Latin America, of which for 20 years he worked in El Salvador and 16 in the Bajo Lempa organization of the Tecoluca (San Vicente) municipality and Zacatecoluca (La Paz). Bajo Lempa fights for sustainable rural development and quality of life of the rural families and communities in the region. As a member of the executive board of Bajo Lempa responsible for Economic Administration, for 14 years (from 1992-2005) he was at the head of the strategic and operational management of CORDES. His most relevant contribution in the process of constructing Peace in the region and in the two municipalities included: the positive reinsertion into civilian life of the demobilized combatants in the region; creation and development of the organization; local economic development, and the development of local capacities.
