Senior project manager VNG International (The Netherlands)
Arne Musch (1970) heads the VNG International research and development programme, a part of its LOGO South programme for support to local governments and their associations. He is also involved in regular project management work in Sudan and in Iraq.
 
In past years, Arne Musch worked in various positions in West Africa and in The Netherlands, and at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome. He was also a governance specialist in the civil-military co-operation unit of the Royal Netherlands Army. The way users/citizens interact with subnational governments and water boards are a recurring theme in his career. His PhD research was carried out at the Technology and Development Group of the University of Twente (The Netherlands).
