Antonio Papisca
Professor of International Relations and International Protection of Human Rights at the University of Padua (Italy)
Antonio Papisca was formerly the Director of the Interdepartmental Centre on Human Rights and the Rights of Peoples. He also holds the Unesco Chair in Human Rights, Democracy and Peace, as well as being a Jean Monnet Professor ad honorem. Antonio is a member of the boards of the ‘Transnational Associations’ and ‘The European Union Review’. He has also been a member of the European University Council for the Jean Monnet Programme (from 1990 until 2000). Between 2001 and 2002, Antonio was on the Scientific Committee for the first European Union Conference on Intercultural Dialogue. His recent publications include Droits de la personne et démocratie.
